2023 Preview: Ball State

Mike Neu coached ball state to 5-7 in 2022, playing in 8 one score games. They only won 4 of them. Like Akron, it’s somewhat positive that they played in that many one score games, but Mike Neu is now 33-48 at Ball St since 2016, winning the west division of the MAC only once. In fact, the COVID season is his only winning year and the only year he has a winning record in the conference. His seat is one of the hotter ones in college football and he needs to show improvements or Ball St will likely look in a different direction.
